Who may apply for a South African Spousal Visa?
- Those who are married to a South African citizen or permanent residence holder
- Those who are in life partner relationships with a South African citizen or permanent residency holder
Life partners (heterosexual or homosexual) of a South African citizen or permanent resident will need to provide comprehensive and satisfactory evidence that their permanent, good faith relationship exists for at least two years to apply for the Spousal Visa.
There are many optional conditions that go along with the Spousal Visa, such as the option to conduct own business, work or take up studies in South Africa.
